Bidra med feedbackChef was very friendly and was overall a vibe. One of best carbonara I have ever had and I have been to Italy. They are known for their meat ball sandwich being the best in Washington and let me tell you they have that award for a good reason! That sandwich was like an angels kiss. Would definitely recommend for any lover of pasta and meatball sandwich.
Really great food, I had the meatball sandwich and their sauce is excellent! The staff are all friendly and fun. The space is a little cramped, but you do get to see the chef work which is always cool. $20 for a meatball sandwich is definitely pricey and maybe if it came with a salad or something it would be easier to justify. Currently it feels overpriced despite how good it is. The caprese is also very good with a nice pesto which was a bit cheaper and did come with a salad.Vegetarian options: They had a caprese sandwich and cheese pizza
Owner was rude as ever and completely out of line. Tried to recruit my 4 year old daughter to cook pizzas for them, but refused to let us sit and eat their one size only $50 mediocre pizza in their dining room because their sign says “no outside food EVEN IF YOU ORDERED FOOD HERE”. I had a bowl of chowder from next store. When I called him out asking “You can’t let a mother sit with her family after we bought a $50 pizza? It’s chowder..” and the owner lost his mind. Completely unreasonable, impersonal, and overall total j Try the pizza yourself it’s not worth the $50. Go to an actual sit down restaurant at Pikes and you’ll get a better deal. Try Cutters fantastic view, food, and service. More budget friendly? Go to the Market at Pikes.
Pizza, Italian food, I had it here, and please! One taste and I can tell no Italian blood in anything I tasted, where they are from I don't know but if you want to eat good Italian food then don't eat here!! Also the aggravation of sitting truly sucks, they actually had a family move from next to us and they had bought all the desserts from the Pizza and Pasta Bar, but because the main meals were not from them they made a big stink and had them move. I will not spend a dime extra ever at this place when visiting Seattle again. Oh, and the above comment on Italian blood, I have eaten great, fantastic Italian foods made by many non-Italians, but this one is definitely not one of them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for good Italian food and a place to sit and enjoy your meal.
We took a piece before realizing we needed a picture for the review. This pizza was AMAZING. The crust was light but not too salty. The mozzarella cheese was perfectly balanced. Bruno and his staff were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend trying this place.
