Derby - Seattle

Holy smokes! Talk about a hidden gem. If you are looking for slap you in the face, incredible flavor that you will be talking about weeks later, then this is it. I went here with business colleagues on a recommendation, and we were all still thinking/craving/talking about it weeks after. The atmosphere is also fire. It is a unique place that I cannot recommend enough.

The venue itself is great but I was so disappointed by the food! I think they ran out of avocado and forgot to take avocado toast off the menu because my avocado toast literally had a see through smear of avocado sprea on 1/2 the piece of toast... it was beyond disappointing. Especially for the price. Our waiter interrupted our conversation 5 times in the first 5 minutes rushing me to order a drink. It was overall a very disappointing experience. Which is too bad because the location is perfect with our season tickets for mariners and hawks.

Phenomenal atmosphere and great food. Bartender Kristi is the best. When in Sodo and thirst or hungry stop by you won't be disappointed.

It was a wonderful exerience to dine at Derby again today and being welcomed by familiar faces. Ambience is hip. Service is excellent. Derby team we connected today- Mike, Jessica and Christi all incredible. Coowner Patrick surprised us by dropping in to say hello . Lets get some new wine labels! See you Derby again soon!
