Bidra med feedbackWe had an amazing lunch at the Charlotte Restaurant that was able to accommodate us last minute. With a wide age range in our group, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Great drinks, amazing food, and fabulous location and views. We will be back!!
Came to The Charlotte for their Christmas Eve for their 5 course prix fixe meal. We were seated at 7:15 and they rushed us through 5 courses in just 45 minutes, we asked if they could slow down the service but the waiter said no, he already fired up all the dishes. The dishes were coming so fast we weren't even done with the current course when the next course would show up and they just lined up the dishes at our table. It should have been a memorable Christmas Eve where we sat and enjoyed the food and the view, instead we were force fed a 5 course meal in record time of 45 minutes. I would not recommend their special occasion prix fixe meals because of this. The food was OK but nothing that stood out. We felt the lighting was too bright on our table, the restaurant should have a lower lighting level.
Check-in was chaotic. The food was mediocre at best. It feels like premade food that just get warmed up before serving (and it was not even properly warmed) The waiters were def not trained properly. My waiter gave me my steak and I didn't have a fork and knife at the table. Then she just left. When the waiters give utensils to other guests on different table, they just handover the utensils instead of placing the utensils properly on the table.
Very unimpressive all the way around. Food was just average. We went for the Christmas Eve “experience”, which was quite unimaginative and not at all “Christmassy”. The “experience” was nothing more than a regular meal anywhere else, with limited menu options. The place wasn't even decorated and there was nothing to distinguish it from a regular visit save the limited menu options. They ran out of the featured drinks almost immediately at the first seating. Bar service was poor and slow. Poor catering/substitutions to dietary restrictions.. Distressing experience. Certainly outrageously priced for what one got.
Cauliflower entree was quite underwhelming but the broccoli salad and rye bread were wonderful. The white chocolate souffle was beautiful and not too sweet, which was welcome. Service was exceptional and friendly , something Seattle has a deficit of. It's a pretty space. Nice cocktail and wine selection.. The bar was crowded and loud at 5:30 but the restaurant was very quiet.
