Bob's Quality Meats - Seattle

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. We stumbled upon this wonderful little butcher shop after learning about how they’ve been consecutively open since the late 1800s from a tour with the Seattle Architecture Foundation about historic landmarks. We purchased chicken thighs, Vietnamese style marinated pork skewers and a Delmonico steak. Tasting each now as I type this review. It’s a piece of old Seattle, which means great service and quality product at reasonable prices. We will be back.

I called to place an order for pick-up, 1 week in advance. I got to the store and my order was not prepared, and I was pointed to a freezer with pre-sliced, frozen meat. The clerk kept pointing me to the freezer but refused to come around the counter to show me where exactly my order was. I ended up leaving and was thanked for coming in. No one cared that I placed an order and expected to purchase my order. No one clarified anything or apologized for the inconvenience. I was VERY unhappy and disappointed in the service I DIDNT receive.

So I'm going to boycott Bob's market at this point I this isn't the same place that I knew about his grandfather and his father I do not even know if the Sun is still owning this as there's an Asian woman that you have controlling things to being very ignorant I wanted to go get oxtails called to see if they had them and she said we had few for the holiday I walk in with five other people one was black and two other people were white and they watched and even agreed with me as you were stacking up oxtails for a special order that you said that you would not be doing this isn't the first time that I went there and had issues with you doing special orders to white people but we're all a part of this community my grandmother went to this here rest in peace my father went here and I will no longer go here I don't even know if it's the original owner but I went there to get oxtails and I had to get a prime rib for $130 that wasn't a prime rib I will never buy anything from here again and I'm boycotting and I'm telling everybody and the community to stop going here

Absolutely the best!!! Parents used to go to bobs when I was a kid. And I have been going since becoming an adult and my adult son love bobs as well. The Beef hot links are something you'll never find anywhere else. The smoked chicken is a family favorite. The list goes on and on. You're treated like family and couldn't be more proud to say iv been a customer for over 30+ years and it's only changed for the better. High quality meats and great customer service!!!!

The best butcher in Seattle. Bar none. Excellent service, great meat...and I mean excellently sourced beef. Dry aged Ribeye and NY Strip are well priced and delicious. Marinated meats you must try: lemongrass chicken thighs, carne asada, Vietnamese grill pork. Must.
