Bidra med feedbackNice ambiance, always clean, fun music, and some games to play with friends. The bubble tea and boba is always solid but rarely exceptional. Best feature is the wide selection of toppings (your third topping is free! .
I always get the roasted milk tea with boba here. The milk tea is wonderful with a strong tea flavor. This is the only place I've been to that makes this flavor. However, the boba, although still good, always seems to be a little undercooked(or left out for too long? .
Solid spot for shaved ice, smoothies, and boba tea. They have a nice selection of board games as well (shout out Hedbanz). The K-Pop is set to a decent volume, meaning that it will catch your attention but not overwhelm your conversation. Our server was patient with our toppings indecision, as well as gave us some great recommendations, which was appreciated. Prices seem fit for the college crowd.
I want sure about Bambu at first, but I've really grown to love them. They have a lot of space inside, and a lot of tables for groups to use, which is awesome. The menu is very unique for the U District, too. You can get your typical milk tea/boba drinks, but you can also get Vietnamese iced coffee (the kind with condensed milk) and a ton of different fruit smoothies. I've tried the durian smoothie, the soursop smoothie, the jackfruit smoothie and the avocado smoothie, and each was excellent. Bambu also has these awesome snow ice desserts with the toppings of your choice. Drinks range from about $4.50-$6.25, depending on what you get. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Recommend for the wall of drinks. Ended up getting the snow ice. They don’t have all the flavors advertised but it was good. Wasn’t the halo halo or shaved ice style I’m used to. It was good nevertheless. The place is quite which after a bit was relaxing after being on the ave. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in silence.
