The Raj Scunthorpe Indian Takeaway

Ordered a delivery because I was babysitting my 6 month old Grandchild, the I live in a 2nd floor flat, driver refused to bring it to my front door instead making me run down to the main entrance because apparently they are “not allowed” to deliver to my front door. For this reason alone I will not order from them again. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner

Had a couple of hours spare and the wife and I we're looking for somewhere to eat. So we found this place via Google. We turned up with no prior booking, and was welcomed in. Once shown to our table, we ordered 2 drinks which was moderate in pricing. For food we ordered the set meal for 2. The starter's were lovely! We had the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Samosa which the wife and I both shared. For the mains I went for the Chicken Biryani, again it was beautiful! The chicken was cooked to perfection, not dry or soggy. Accompanied by a Cheese Naan which again, was perfect. The staff we're not only welcoming, but we're warm and pleasant throughout. Very knowledgeable on the menu as well. And finally price wise, was very fair. And any surplus food was packed up for us to take home. Would definitely recommend this place!
