Hawley Diner - Scranton

Since 1946! We go to breakfast and lunch! Ham Steak was a half inch thick and served with a generous part of hash browns. Very personable waiting staff and apparently a favorite of a rather diverse group of locals. Unpretentious house style dining with a short order cook work the grill directly over the counter seat. Also seating in the boat.

Excellent old style diner. Had pancakes, eggs, keelbasa with coffee good solid breakfast food. Waitress was busy, but with refills everyone knew names. I hope to come back here soon.

Good price, delicious, big size and 24 hours OPEN. There's nothing else to say.

Loved this place. Great kielbasi, fried eggs, toast, and home fries. Service was good. The place was a greasy spoon in the truest sense of the word, but also in the best sense. The server was earthy and personable, the food was quick and hot, and I would go back as often as possible... If I didn't live 1500 miles away...
