Second Story Restaurant & Liquor Bar

Overall, this was a pretty good meal! The Focaccia was the absolutely star of the show. The pasta was delicious, but a little cold. My biggest disappointment was that the old fashion was literally $25...for a maker's Mark Standard old fashion. A little overpriced. Focaccia was a victory.

Best Valentine's Day experience in the valley! We were so lucky to stumble on Second Story while using their Chocolate Theme Valentines Pre Fixe menu. Lotta nice restaurants in the city with cool prefixes menus for V-day, but not with such a unique Valentines chocolate theme. Feel like Second Story not much advertising their special menu, so we were very happy that we found out about it and we are able to book a reservation. The whole menu was delicious A1 and we were impressed by everything. I went with the chocolate ribbons and my lady got the cocoa Curry Salmon for our entrees. We loved everything. Service was great, we had a newer server and they did a great job on their first week and the manager ensured that we had a great time. Thanks for the second story

We went for the Valentines Day special menu, the description was a “four course meal” for $100 was exciting to read, but ended up being a huge disappointment . It was really a couple of bites and a main. We had shots of soup and a cracker for the first course, a salad with hardly any dressing, cheese, or any other topping (pretty much a bowl of arugula), a half portion of pasta to split between two people (we had two bites each) and then the meat course, which was just meat but at least it was a full sized portion. Desert was another literal shot to split amongst two people. Outdoor seating was a much less romantic atmosphere than inside, where the photos are taken for their social media, especially considering the rain. It would have been nice for Valentine’s Day to see a bit more effort put into making it still feel special (a candle would have done the trick). We ended up leaving feeling robbed with $350 less in our pockets (after drinks and tip). Our waitress, Rachel, was our saving grace.

This is my favorite spot and the food is always amazing and love the atmosphere!!

The chef is incredibly talented. Food was wonderful. Excellent, attentive service!!
