S V Urban Italian - Scottsdale

Been to S&V several times. The last 2 were disappointing. Charcuterie board was uninteresting and this time the gnocchi dish was not great. For $22 it was a small shallow bowl with quite mushy gnocchi, the creamy truffle sauce broke after a few minutes and was a puddle of butter. The chicken was dry going on jerky and had the taste of microwaved chicken. The service was very good and they replaced the chicken, it was obviously from a different dish they serve and was overly marinated in garlic. It was better but not great. I have had better dishes here. Service is always good and atmosphere is nice.

Loved everything about this restaurant. Highly recommend the Milan's with Salmon. The limoncello was so refreshing too. Our service was also really good.

It was just OK. Great service though, a bit pricey for food that's just OK.

I am a regular and have always loved coming to S&V for years. Food has always been greatToday not so good.I came for brunch and was super excited to have the French toast as I have before.The restaurant had 2 parties sitting outside and 1 person sitting inside. So pretty empty!! The 2 parties outside were actually finishing up and paying to leave.I arrived at 12:50pm. I ordered at 1pm. My food came at 1:35pm. My French toast was not cooked! Very raw and soggy! My eggs tasted like the chef cooked them in a burnt garlic skillet.One I don 't understand why I waited 35 min for food when the restaurant was completely empty! When I mentioned how the French toast was raw looking the new manager corrected me by say you mean not toast sorry but when you order French toast ... its toasted and cooked not soggy and runny and raw looking. It was NOT appealing to say the least.Thry took food back and removed everything from my bill but I tipped the server anyway $5 as I don 't believe this was her fault.Needless to say I left hungry and frustrated.

My aunt and I decided to go here to eat lunch and it was a fabulous choice and didn’t disappoint! The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. I will most definitely go back there to eat whenever I’m in the area again.
