Ra Sushi - Scottsdale

We went to RA to celebrate a birthday. I had a reservation for 6. Most tables for 4 and more are high up, but they have regular seating. There is a very modern aesthetic for the dining area and the food. It will definitely be one of my happy hour points, the prices were decent for this menu, it had a good choice and the food was great. I wish they had brought a little effort into a birthday gesture of any kind, but otherwise it was a nice time that I would recommend as a place for others.

Pros: Delicious Sushi and great service. Also the miserable soup and the sea salad were lovely. Whatever you do, do not miss the coconut cream brulee – it was completely divine! Con: The Uchi no salad was very bitter and practically unusable. Total great experience!

I was in this state in many RA restaurants. Almost every time I have been there, the food and service are great! I love that they have more affordable happy hour prices and that they give you birthday half-birth certificates! I usually get the same three things: tuna roll, salmon roll and a sharp yellow tail roll. Her spicy yellow tail roll is my favorite of all I tried in different sushi restaurants. That night I decided to get this Tuna appetizer dish that I had before. The sauce has such a rich taste and the tuna is melted-in-your mouth soft! Many of my friends also enjoy coming to RA and I am always looking forward to eating there!

First time going to this particular location and everything was great! Allison was our server and she was awesome! The food and drankssss were bomb...best calamari!

Clean. Good ambience. Service is good and waiter friendly. Food tastes great. The price is a little high for what I got, but that's Scottsdale. The pineapple bugs were a big disappointment... For $11, I expected them to have at least one pineapple taste, but all I tasted was cheese. I'd probably come back, but not the Wintons.
