Bidra med feedbackWe made a reservation through open table to celebrate a friend 's birthday, as she loves this restaurant. The atmosphere is calming and has a luxurious feel to it. The views of camelback mountain are wonderful! The Service staff are very well trained, kind and polite. The restaurant will mark your tickets so that you don 't have to pay for parking while you 're . During dinner, they were attentive and quick to respond to our needs. The restaurant is definitely a hotel restaurant; meaning emphasis is put on service decor and comfort. For my meal, I had an appetizer -the calamari frittata(? . Basically fried calamari some shrimp and mussels with a dipping sauce on the side. It was served on a bit of greens. It was flavorless, the seafood was chewy and it was greasy at $20 for the appetizer. We also had their bread for seven dollars that came with Creamy butter with poppyseeds and a delicious marmalade to put on top. The bread was delicious. Though for me, It was overpriced and I believe bread should be free with dinner, especially for the price that you 're paying for their food selection. For my salad choice I had the burrata with tomatoes and that was $22 and the amount of burrata was About a tablespoon and a half and the tomatoes were mushy and old. They did provide a nice helping of greens. For the most part, the entire dish was very disappointing for the price, quantity and the quality of the tomatoes. Carrabba 's burrata appetizer beats this hands-down, with a fistful of burrata and freshly seasoned grape tomatoes with balsamic and basil, in addition to delicious warm bread that they provide for free! $16. For my main dish, I had their seafood paella. Extremely disappointing. The seafood was not fresh. It was frozen and tasted as if all the seafood was soaked in salt. My dish had three mussels, three clams a couple of shrimp, a nice helping of bay scallops, a piece of fish and one cherry pepper. The seasoning of the rice was good. Cant enter any more .
This is our first visit to the Phoenix area and Prado Restaurant hit all the right notes. The food was delicious, plentiful and so well prepared. My husband and I shared the pulpo tapas and Valencia paella both of which are outstanding. From the valet service to the wait staff, the service was impeccable. Special mention to Cade who was very attentive, friendly and efficient. We highly recommend Prado and look forward to returning!
Delicious food and great service! Had the pan de manchego, albondigas, beef tenderloin, and Valencia paella. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly. All the food had such amazing flavors. Great wine selection. Javier our waiter was so helpful. Highly recommend.
The food and service was excellent! We had the Paella de carnicero and the Costillo rioja, and it was amazing! The drinks were also tasty and everything reasonably priced, would definitely recommend to try
Came to Prado for Sunday Brunch (it happened to be Father's Day 2024). Was expecting stellar service, ambiance, and outstanding food, but all of that was quickly dashed. The Brunch Punch was terrible not even sure what was in it, but it was lacking flavor despite having been muddled with various berries in the glass. I looked around the room and everyone's brunch punch was untouched so it seemed many guests did not like it. Also, it seems they were made by different bartenders b/c each person's punch was a different shade of purple. The complimentary lemon bread was overbaked or stale very dark/burnt outside and inside was tough. The burger was your run of the mill burger you'd get at a chain, not something you'd expect to get at a 5 star resort. French fries were bland and were as if they were leftover and reheated from the previous night's dinner service. The Bocadillo pass on that altogether came out lukewarm and the presentation was lackluster. At least the chorizo gave it some life, but I'd rate the dish a 2/10. I expected a 5 star meal and 5 star service given that Prado's dinner service typically meets or exceeds that expectation was highly disappointed and will not be going back for brunch. Additionally, there was no ambiance, no white noise or background (soft) music there was nothing playing over the speakers so all you heard was other people at tables talking. It was a rather busy Sunday (perhaps due to Father's Day 2024) and perhaps they were understaffed, but management should plan better as it's a bad experience for Resort members and guests.
