Bidra med feedbackOne of my favorite thai places in Scottsdale. They found a way to accommodate us last minute with family in town. I love thai basil I would ask for it not fried it is better. The soup is always a hit. The jalapeño fried rice is also fantastic!
Wonderful as always. Appetizers were calamari (delicious and crispy) and Siamese Kisses. Hubby and I shared the Coco Chili Fish and the Crispy Basil Chicken, they were both amazing. Btw, a level 3 spice is SPICY and soooooo good!! We also had desserts. My boys had coconut ice cream, I had the mango sticky rice, and hubby had the cream brulee. I liked the sticky rice the best but they were all tasty.
Excellent cocktails, entrees and customer service. Nice atmosphere.
Quality does not life up to cost of food. I didnt realize you have to request (and pay extra) for clean white meat chicken so our already pricey dish was full of inedible chicken. Lacking in flavor. There are much better places for Thai food.
We had dinner at Malee 's before a concert at Scottsdale Performing Arts Center. The location is perfect considering it was right around the corner from our hotel. We could see Malee 's rooftop from our room. We did make reservations just in case it was busy. After our short walk to the Malee 's we were seated instantly. An early reservation meant not too crowded. By the time we left 50 minutes later it was busy. The menu is typical of Thai place with a mix of currys, stir frys, noodles, rice dishes, and some speciality items. We started with Siamese Kisses which came quickly as we checked entree options. The Kisses were six excellent dim sum like wraps with chicken, and Thai spices. The sauces were good, but wished there was more on the plate. My companion likes to try Evil Jungle Princess at every restaurant and she was not disappointed. The serving was very large and came with a large bowl of white rice. The coconut cream sauce was sweet and flavorful. She enjoy every bit but couldn 't make it to the bottom of the bowl. I had the same problem with my Yellow Curry with brown rice. We both ordered medium spice level and were happy with the heat. My curry was filled with lots of carrots, bell pepper but was a little lean on my favorite potatoes. I chose to add dark meat chicken and it was great. We were in Scottsdale for just 24 hours so not being able to take advantage of togo box which was offered was the only downside of our visit. We did tell our server that next time we would order a single entree and split it.
