I love Berdenas, it was the first place in the valley I have ever visited for special coffee and still has a very special place in my heart. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, the baristas are always super friendly and welcoming, and of course the coffee is also incredible! I love the cardamom pink. I'm telling everyone I can also get from their Avo toast because it's really the best! Totally obsessed with this charming coffee shop.

I enjoy this spot on slow weekend mornings when old town Scottsdale is sleeping in. You can grab a delicious coffee and walk along the canal I recommend the honey lavender latte, hot (although I am an iced coffee gal myself, the hot option for this one just tastes better). The inside is smaller but there are some outdoor seating spots. Parking is easy in the mornings.

Sometimes I go somewhere that I really didn’t like, and I read 5 star reviews from that place saying “I don’t know why all these people gave a 1 star review”. I ask myself how I could possibly have had that much different of an experience. Ultimately I come to the conclusion that the 5 star reviews are fake. As far as Berdenas goes, I’m on the other side of it. I don’t understand how anyone could give them less than 5 stars. The baker is super friendly, the coffee is great, and I swear the cinnamon rolls were some of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve had. My wife as well. No doubt 5 they deserve 5 stars!
