Benihana - Scottsdale

Benihana is classic and a place that has and will continue to hold wonderful memories with family and friends for our big celebrations. We have never been disappointed and we love that we can meet new people along the way. Thanks for a dose of yummy!

This place is so nice, tastes great and you get a wonderful show from the chefs! Our chef Tony was so funny and great to watch, putting on a mini fire show and throwing fish into his hat, it was amazing!

Our chef did not know what came in our dishes. I ordered Spicy Hibachi shrimp which should have included onion, green onion, and yellow peppers. When I told him, he disagreed with me. My husband ordered Benihana Excellence which should have included green onion. It did not. He said it didn't come with them so my husband got the menu from the front desk and showed him so he requested some green onion and cooked them but he wasn't happy about it. The chef should know what's included in the recipes and should not be disagreeing with the guests. The food was all delicious.

Never had a bad experience at this location before in 20 years. Unfortunately the food was inedible, made me immediately sick and won't ever return. This was what seemed to be only due to a very poor chef, but it was so bad I can no longer trust the restaurant I have used for special occasions for a very long time.

The food was delicious as always. Our server was great! The chef wasn't as enthusiastic as some other chefs have been. The table next to us had problems with the exhaust fan so we had a lot of smoke coming our way. Otherwise it was a great time!
