Caberston Cafe - Scottish Borders

Called in for lunch during a recent cycling trip. I had messaged the owner in advance to check out gluten free options as I'm coeliac. I had the club sandwich, it was excellent. I had gluten free cake which was very nice. The coffee was also very good. It was all so tasty we called in again 2 days later.

This place is a real gem. Not fancy, but great home style food. LOVE their soups and hubby swears by the BLT sandwich, best he’s ever had. Great selection of freshly baked cakes, loafs and scones. A trip to Home Basics and then lunch here is always worth the drive ; The

I stopped by for a coffee and had a cheese scone. It was incredibly cheesy, fresh, and light. The best scone I've had in a while.

Definitely worth another visit. The Scotch Broth is the best Iv tasted, to be fair Iv had a few bowls in my lifetime. Friendly, Quality food and coffee, approachable and cosy, what more do you want. 10 Motorbikers say thank you.
