Bidra med feedbackWe had an absolutely amazing experience on the Cincinnati Dinner Train. The food was amazing, we both chose the salmon. The staff and crew were phenomenal! We very much enjoyed learning about the rich history of the Cincinnati railroad. We definitely recommend reserving your trip and we will be back again soon!Parking: Security protected lot to make sure your car is as you brought when you get back.
Absolutely the best experience you can ever have. Add this to your bucket list. Very awesome people. The train is always clean and very nice atmosphere! Love the music. Takes you back to the 50s and 60s The Queen City Sister's make a great concert also. Highly recommended!!!!Parking: They have a guard on duty to watch your car while you are gone. Very thankful for that!
I like trains and food, so I thought that this would be a natural, and for the most part, it was. I booked the Silver Sword car and requested a table for 2, which we were seated at next to the bar. I thought that the prime rib was good, as was the accompanying side, salad, and dessert. The service was friendly and very attentive. The only downside, which others have mentioned, was the lack of scenery. There was a guide to point out history and landmarks, but railroad tracks in an urban area tend to be industrial and/or trash collectors. Since the return trip is in the dark, depending on when you go, it's really only a factor on half of the trip.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility. Passengers must be able to climb the train boarding stairs.
Atmosphere was great, food did not meet my expectations for the price, but the service was excellent. I was also disappointed that the singers did not go from car to car during the entire trip to entertain. We heard one song and then had to walk to another train car if we wanted to hear them after our meal. You don't get to see much of Cincinnati if that is what your expecting. Overall it was a good experience and the service and wait staff were excellent but wouldn't do it again
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The train itself was nice ..restrooms very tiny, of course. The view from the train was awful! We had to sit across from total strangers the whole ride and share a table for four. I made our reservations in early May for August because that's the earliest you could reserve a ticket. I reserved a car that had minimal seating (desiring something more intimate) with two table seating options in hopes that we would get a two-person table in that car since we were reserving as early as possible. My husband and I were out celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary which only comes once in a lifetime. Needless to say we were very disappointed. If we must have to sit at a table of four.. they should at least have you sitting across from your party instead of having you facing complete strangers the whole 3 hour trip.We will give it a two-star rating only because of the service provided by the friendly staff. We give it a three-star for the food quality. The salmon was delicious and the cheesecake was delicious, The steak my husband ordered seemed to have almost been boiled instead of grilled (we even questioned at first if it was pork). Some of the other passengers steaks didn't look as bad as the one my husband was given. So, their steak may have been better to be fair.As I stated before, the staff provided friendly and fast service, five stars! We give it two stars for the atmosphere only because the train itself was in good condition. Our view from out of the window (which we had to stretch our neck to be able to see from our table) was very poor. The city appears to be very run down. There are tents set up in different locations that we passed... a lot of overgrowth among the trees.. just very little of the city to see.
