Bidra med feedbackHere with a group during the business trip to the area. The atmosphere was great and the weather was nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the night. The food was very good and the service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals and beer. Will definitely be back.
This restaurant is one of the very typical Black Forest places to go when you enjoy delicious homemade specialities and/or drink a fine beer in a warm and open atmosphere. They will meet international businessmen and the regular table. (Stammtisch:...A round table where locals meet regularly to have a beer and discuss important politics as well as completely irrelevant questions. Schraivogel is authentic and recommended in every respect.
The establishment of the restaurant looks like a typical German Braustube (apart from the small neon convents) and I expected to find bread and fried meat on the menu... but what a surprise! The food is anything but typical or traditional and this restaurant... would be high-ranking in every city, German or America. Fresh vegetables were the highlight of each dish we tried and the preparation was unexpectedly good. We had cured chickens and vegetables over pasta, and a selection of sauteed (and al dente) fresh vegetables. I visited Schramberg twice and eaten in two different restaurants, but Braustube Schraivogel becomes the first place I visit when I am back in the area.
