Friedrichs - Schleiden

The Hotel Restaurant Friedrichs is a traditional house and plays in the first league of Schleidener or Gastronomy, picturesque at the confluence of Urft and Olef. The reception was friendly and welcoming, the dining room is bright and tasteful. Although only another table was occupied, the operation was hopelessly overwhelmed. The order must be repeated about a dozen times. Drinking and eating came fast, but the reorganization of wine and water was then forgotten. The food (suppen, salad) and main dishes (meat, poultry, fish) were delicious, the portions were generous. But there was an outlier: The vegetarian menu was sweet and hopelessly salted. It was withdrawn without any condition. The disappointment At 14:00 the main course was completed and the bill was already asked for several hundred euros. Unfortunately this is no longer the case, said the operation with the undertone of honest regret, after two o'clock in the afternoon the cook would leave the kitchen. Maybe it could be coffee and cake instead? The conclusion obviously goes so well that gastronomy can leave the additional (dessert) turnover and is no longer dependent on the satisfaction of the guest. Congratulations!

We have a reservation confirmation in 13. January from the hotel incl. bill for overnight stays receive breakfast as well as tourist tax and this end of January also paid. Now the hotel in Insovenz is only three weeks before we arrived by phone. The commitment to rebooking and the takeover of the costs for the replacement hotel was withdrawn three days later, i.e. the money is probably also the so-called costs away, such as the visitor's tax, which has to come into its own community ....
