After having experienced a smoked trout in the Bremsdorfer Mühle during the hikes in the Schlaubetal, we have eaten there by Siehdichum. As expected, the restaurant was well visited at sunny early spring weather. We arrived early and found a place in the garden without effort, and later three more flutes came to our table. Together we enjoyed the sun and the good food. Overall, the visit of the Bremsdorfer Mühle was the I Tüpfelchen on a big day in the Schlaubetal. From the selection of dishes, among others, cabbage, deer goulash, wild beef, we chose the roasted salmon trout with potatoes, root vegetables and salad. The salmon trout was large quite generally the portions are very generous, freshly prepared and delicious, with crispy skin. The root vegetables were on site, not cooked, it had the right bite. We sat outside on one of the wooden seating groups in the sun. There are some round tables outside for 6 people each, and three covered longer tables with benches similar to resting huts as you can find on hiking trails). In the yard the smoker smokes and creates additional ambience, but it is sufficiently far away, you will not be wounded. Cleanliness Both the guest areas and the toilets were clean, used dishes were quickly cleaned.

We stayed there with a larger group after a hike in the beautiful surroundings. The guest room is rustic but very cozy. The service was very friendly and flotted. There was something in the small map for everyone. The dishes were served almost at the same time and gave no cause for complaints. The waffles ordered for dessert and the cake pieces were huge and delicious. The prices for food and drink are really fair. Sure.

General We arrived at the Bremsdorfer Mühle at 14.00. At the entrance there were 4 very good looking cakes and a sheet metal cake on the table, so we decided to drink coffee here. After some search we found two more places on a 6 table. The other guests at this table paid after about 5 minutes and we learned that they had waited for their food very long. When the waitress took off, she collected the dishes and wanted to go. We asked if we could not order immediately. She answered: No, it doesn't make any sense, we have to wait anyway! The waitress ran past our table four times without picking up an order. After 25 minutes waiting time, we're against. The experience was far from hospitality, professionalism and business sense. A guest so unfriendly is very stupid and cheeky. We don't think we'll come back here again. The ambience The outdoor facilities do not look well-maintained, the underground is unconsolidated.

Family-run restaurant with just a few places, which makes the cozy atmosphere. In winter you can sit in front of the fireplace. Especially the fresh wild dishes are recommended.

General The Bremsdorfer Mühle is a fixed point for our annual short holidays in the area since we arrived there for the first time. Situated on the NSG Schlaubetal, you also have the possibility of a digestive walk in a wonderful landscape. We've never been disappointed. And, as you tasted, everything freshly prepared, you can wait 5 minutes longer! Prices are also very pleasant.
