El Jalisco - Schertz

I had lunch with two of my brothers. The Barbacoa was the best they ever had. I had the Huevos rancheros with Steak. It was cooked for perfection. Our server Eric was very friendly and did an excellent job. I recommend this place to all my family and friends!! Excellent food!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat and has been here since it was opened 14 years ago. If you're looking for the typical TexMex fair of Enchiladas, Burritos and Tacos, they'll make some of the best I've ever had. But you really need to try some of the other dishes they offer. The Pork Chop Plate is one of my favorites along with the Chicken Breast Steak (smothered in Monterey Jack...hope hunger because it is a lot of food). If you want something spicy, try the steak a la Mexicana... the cook will light you up. Excellent food breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices that cannot be beaten. Staff who feel like family.
