Shabu-you Japanese Buffet - Schaumburg

We absolutely loved our meal! The service was great and the food was delicious. There is a wide variety of options to choose from and we really enjoyed trying it all! It was a great meal and we'll definitely be back!

We came here with our 5 year old kids. They were cooperative enough to keep away from the hot broths. Service was excellent and fast. The quality of meat was great! Food was delicious. We stayed away from some of the odd fusion items at the unlimited buffet. Overall excellent experience and value. We will be coming again.

The food taseted phenomenal and our waiter explained the process to order andhow to navigate the buffet. The issue I had was our reservation was for 4:30. We weren't seated until I asked the front desk staff how much longer the wait would be at 4:50. When we sat down we were told we have 90 minutes and picked our broths when the timer on the touchpad appeared we were at 75 mins. Towards the end of our time the waiter attempted to give us the extra time due to a delay on the staff side but the manager came to our table asked us to exit due to another reservation for the table. Where was the urgency when seating our party and why start the timer according to our reservation time when we were seated late!

Very very disappointed, I’ve been in Japan and people are very honest, but my experience on this place was not very honest, I asked if they’ll give military discount and they said yes 10% offf and at the end of the payment he mentioned that he took the 10% off, but nope, he didn’t and I just found out when I checked my bank account and realized that they didn’t took the 10% off.If you tell me that you’re going to give me discount don’t fool me, we gave xtra tips and you were very dishonest.

After 37 plates of meat, couple of crab plates, couple shrimp plates my buddy and I broth was running low, so we ordered more broth. After not getting broth for 10 minutes a pot started to heavily smoke. We did the only reasonable thing but to get dessert, and we come to checks and a 10 minute warning on the tablet saying last call at 730 at night. Strangely enough I would recommend this place to everyone.
