Ristorante Garibaldi - Schaerding

As the only non smokers at the restaurant we had the quiet non smoker room to ourselves. The large windows slid back to make a terrace view of the Inn and the Kloster on the opposite bank The owner was pleasant and explained the extensive...daily menu in detail. Tip: Forget the menu and wait for the blackboard specials of the day- we were spoilt for choice. All the food was fresh, being made on the premises and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ristorante Garibaldi is probably the best reason to visit Schärding.

Super Italian restaurant right on the shore of the river inn, excellent 'a la carte menu ' and a huge selection on the daily board, friendly personal. Although the place was full, that was waiting for eating not long and well satisfying portions. ... oh yes, they're keeping a table.

We never had the opportunity to experience eating at this place, as we waited for our meals after an hour. despite repeated requests to the place of stay of our meal and recommended” 5 minutes” by a waiter and the owner's wife, we ended that we finished a 500l wein and a large bottle of water and only tasted some olives. the service was very badly made available with the only excuse, she was busy. it would not have been so bad if we had been told at the beginning that they were busy, but despite all the “smooging” it simply did not exist. we spent almost 3 months in Central and Eastern Europe, so we have an idea of fast and slow service, but this place was by far the worst experience. that may eat very well, but not at cost of time and repeated reminding that we are not satisfied with the lack of service.

What a surprising good place to eat. Located at the river Inn. Lovely minestrone and great salmon with vegetables. The food was not only very good, how it was presented on the plate loved it. Friendly service :

Nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit kam endlich das Essen. Die Portion war klein für den hohen Preis und die Nudeln waren nicht durchgekocht. Das Restaurant ist jedoch sehr schön.
