We were in a refuge not far away, on the arrival of the cable car, full due to a ski race. We were a week for hiking in the Greitererhof and had a double room with a balcony with great views of Merano and the surrounding mountains. The location is ideal as a starting point for hikes as you can start directly from the Gasthof. Merano is just 10 km away. The room and the bathroom were very clean and there is nothing to complain about. There was everything you need for breakfast: fresh fruit, fresh rolls and croissants, various sausages and cheeses, cereal, yoghurt and eggs in any shape. We chose half board and did not regret it any day. There was a varied 4 gear menu every day. Fresh salad buffet every day, then there was everything about dumplings, sips, spaghetti carbonara, butter-sweet juice goulash, cordon bleu, palachine, cream caramel or apple strudel. All homemade and freshly prepared and always with the option of expressing wishes if you don't like something. You can't do that! To keep a long story short...
