Bidra med feedbackThe rainbow cookies at this bakery have an overpowering extract flavor, and are a bit firm and overly sweet. While this is just my personal opinion, it seems that most people may not agree with me. While the cookie itself resembles a Sarah Bernhardt, the filling does not. I had these cookies on an island and drove two hours to this bakery specifically for them, but was ultimately disappointed. If you ever find yourself in Reykjavik, you can find similar cookies in almost every small café for a comparison. They are good cookies, rich in flavor, but simply not the same and much smaller in size. On the other hand, the black and white biscuits were delicious with a fluffy, unique texture and perfect icing. The heavenly mousse cake was also fantastic in both taste and appearance, with the tartness of the fruit balancing out the sweetness. I highly recommend trying the cake. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I am happy to have discovered this new bakery, despite my disappointment with the rainbow cookies.
I visited this bakery for the first time in about a year since I no longer live in the neighborhood. It is one of the best bakeries in the area and they also accept orders for birthdays and celebrations. They are usually closed on Mondays, but will be open during the week of Rosh Hashanah. There is plenty of free parking available. Please note that they will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in July.
THE BEST MARZIPAN, TRI COLOR COOKIES EVER. No one makes them like SPC! I've been getting them since I was a kid and still the best! Great cakes as well and very conscious about food allergies!
Excellent apricot coffee cake. So fresh and very tasty. A must for breakfast.
They created the most delicious and amazing ice cream cake for my sons 3rd birthday!
