The Old Vic - Scarborough

I visited this restaurant with a friend after learning that it had reopened and seeing some nice pictures. The menu offered a variety of options and we decided to order a mezze and some spring rolls to share. The mezze was very good value at £7.50, with fresh ingredients and obvious care taken in preparation. The spring rolls were also tasty. Overall, we were very impressed with our meal.

I visited in the evening with friends, from the interesting menu we chose Chicken Satay, Beef Rendang and Meat Laksa everything was delicious. The beer is also good. The staff are friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend

Hope they are going to paint the outside a nice white or cream to brighten the place up!! Gastly colour at the moment!!

Goodness me! what a depressing hole! Looked ok on booking.com but it was shabby, smelly and dire. Rooms and bar need serious attention, even the staff were miserable. Go somewhere else!

Came here for a trip with some colleagues. The location of the Hotel is fantastic as it's over the road from the train station and central....breakfast was also good.....hence the 2 stars. The Hotel is in desperate need of redecorating and a deep clean. The carpets in our room (the Liz taylor) had red spots all over it....appeared to be blood. The extractor fan in the bathroom was hanging off as you can see. Resembled American Horror Story Hotel.
