Flying Dragon - Scarborough

Ordered a Chinese, food came the chicken balls were soggy and full of grease it’s all you could taste. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce so we rang they said they can send the sauce in 20 minutes. Which the meal would be ruined by then. They said we could have one next time we order (we only order once every 6 or so months) so it was no good. My young son wouldn’t eat his rice and noodles because it was so dry. We asked to speak to the manager to see if there was something that could be done he came on the phone and said “what do you want I’m busy” he was nothing but rude. How he still has a job dealing with the public is beyond me. He argued the toss and put the phone down. So the 25£ Chinese went in the bin. Dry as anything. Not worth a couple of quid. It’s a shame because it’s always been so nice but this isn’t the first time they’ve forgotten stuff. Last time we ordered we got prawn balls instead of chicken and my partner is allergic to prawns. But the manager alone is enough reason to NEVER return.

We waited over 2 hours for our food and was promised a free meal if i ordered again but when i ordered again instead of a free meal i got a small discount. the food is very hit and miss with too much salt in

Just had the char sui mushroom the meat was no more char sui than a slice of ham tough as old boots. Will not order again. We have used the Flying Dragon for at least 20yrs but it's going down hill

My favourite Chinese in scarborough. Easy to order. Staff friendly. Reasonably priced also they often send freebies .

First and definitely the last visit.. Ordering service easy online but arrived at the designated time to be told it would be a 'little while ' 15 minutes later they were just starting to cook our food! I really wish they hadn 't bothered. Tasteless, overcooked (possibly microwaved) awful food. Will defo not be returning. The 'chicken ' in the noodle box was disgusting see photo
