Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous customer service and dealt with our autistic son superbly. Only 4/5 star simply because the steak was not cooked as requested but you get that at every pub you go for, for a steak. No pub knows how to cook a steak rare, medium/rare! Seriously, this place was a great family pub. And for once these days, customer service actually seems to matter.

Visited for my son's birthday meal last night had booked months in advance. On arrival we were a little early the table I had booked was apparently not ready and we had to wait in the bar area with 4 children and a man kicking off at staff felt very unsafe there were tables available that would have been for us to use but the barman was adement that our table was t ready he told us to stay in bar area or sit at a big table and wait (we could have happily used that table) few moments later and the table was free so we sat and ordered our meals on the app. We were so disappointed when they arrived. Half roast chicken was ultra dry and stringy, fish and chips dry and reheated, tikka sizzler arrived barely warm let alone sizzling. The other meals of kids sausage and chips was ok just barely heated, kids pizza and the lasagne had spent too long in microwave was hard and crispy inside. Piled high with salad to cover the woeful offering. Again another arguement broke out in the bar area and wasn't dealt with the first seemed fueled by bar staff, actually was worried about safety due to the kids around these arguments and spats. Only came out to celebrate a birthday. Seems a very rough pub not a family establishment would avoid for the food alone not upto standard wouldn't return vast amount of training needed for staff and the kitchen staff and maybe a security on the door to defuse situations.

Very nice meal and good value. Both chose the tuesday 'mix it up ' offer which is excellent value, loads of choice very well presented.

This restaurant offers excellent value for money with delicious breakfast options that left us all satisfied. My daughter especially enjoyed the children's breakfast. The plates were clean all around, indicating a well-prepared and enjoyable meal.
