Bidra med feedbackTerrible experience! The pastries are square and filled with a gray-brown, gel-like substance, no meat or vegetables. I tried a lemon tart, which was hard and extremely stable. It had six currants/sultanas on top. I ordered a quiche but received something that was definitely not a quiche. I have not returned since.
This is my neighborhood bakery, always bustling with locals, students, and workers during lunchtime. The service is excellent and the community rallies behind this establishment as it supports local programs. I highly recommend trying the gluten-free pastries that taste just like the real thing. The freshly made sandwiches are also a big hit. They are simple, but sometimes simple is all you need for a satisfying lunch.
If you're in search of a great variety of freshly baked bread, cakes, and pastries, as well as freshly made sandwiches, expertly crafted coffee, and refreshing cold drinks on the half island, then look no further than this spot. You can expect quick and friendly service from a family-run business.
Ghastly stuff! The pies are square and filled with a grayish brown gelatinous substance - no meat or vegetables. Soggy leathery pastry. Cakes - I tried a lemon meringue. It was rock hard. Obviously extremely stale. Bought a fruit loaf - counted six currants/ sultanas...More
This is my local bakery, always filled with locals getting bread and workers buying lunch. The service is great and the community supports this business, as it supports community programs in it's turn. I can specially recommend the gluten-free sweets, that don't taste like they are modified in any way at all. And the fresh sandwiches are all you could want. They are plain, but who needs fussy food for lunch?
