Trattoria Sorge - SCANDRIGLIA

This is a little old fashioned family restaurant. There are mainly locals coming here for lunch (lots of hunters when we were there), however the owners will try their best to understand and please you. Their menu varies from the usual fare to typical Roman cuisine (intestines, tails etc); Don 't be put off by the simple decoration (it looks like it comes straight out of the 1960s), it adds to the charm. Summertime there is an outdoor seating, wintertime they turn on the heater for their guests. I like it to get here once in a while, let them surprise me with a lunch, coffee and digestive.

This, almost hidden restaurant is worth the effort to find it and spend a long lazy afternoon letting yourself be fed by local specialities. The owners, two sisters, are two very happy and hospitable ladies always ready to suggest you the daily specialities of the house (my suggestion is also to let *them* suggest you what to eat). Aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee and amaro will not only make your meal complete but also your afternoon full. I had a great time here and will surely go back if/whenever I get the chance!
