Savannah Smokehouse Bbq Brew

This is a nice little BBQ place in Savannah. I ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and potato salad. The pork was good and so was the variety of bbq sauces they have. I was disappointed about there their sides. Green beans were too salty and potato salad didn't taste good. My husband had the same thing except that he had the Mac cheese and French fries. Both of his sides tasted really good.

Terrible service, mediocre food. After waiting 45 minutes my husband was told they’re out of the smoked sausage. He then ordered the Smokehouse dawg instead. His Smokehouse dawg was served bare without the pulled pork and coleslaw as indicated on the menu. The man and cheese was mushy and greasy. The potatoe salad needed salt. Enjoyed the pulled pork and collard green spring rolls.

Not recommended to get the chicken tenders dinner. The chicken tenders look like the frozen tenders you would buy from the grocery store and they were a little on the burnt side. The fries are just not my preference…they’re the shoestring style fries so really no potato inside. The potato salad had no favor….this was probably the worst $18 meal I’ve had! I will not be returning. I could’ve cooked this better at home myself. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this lunch was costly and absolutely not worth it. This is just my honest opinion. Check them out for yourself…I’ve only had the chicken tender plate so I can only comment on that (hence the 2 stars instead one 1).

We went in and tried to order. I had to repeat everything twice because the girl taking my order kept turning completely away from me to insert herself into the drama/gossip they were discussing behind the counter. Finally got my order in, and went to sit with my family. As I'm looking around I notice the floor is so filthy it looks like it hasn't been swept in days. Gross. Anyways, fast forward to our food arriving. The chicken was so overcooked and dried out we couldn't even eat it. The greens were undercooked and flavorless, and the potato salad tasted like cardboard. The Mac and cheese was great though! I just felt like I was in a high school commons area with the way the employees were acting and behaving. We won't be back

I give this restaurant 10 out of 10. The selection of sauces were creative flavors and very tasty. The pulled pig San, which was delicious with roasted rolls and I had the best roasted Okra all! The ribs were tenderly falling from bone juice and Smokey taste was not over powering. They don't even want to put sauce on them, they're so good! The smoked sausage was better than I expected with a fantastic crispy outside and also tasteful. The corn cake was good, but too dry for my pleasure. The onion rings are definitely worth getting. I usually don't like normal hickory bbq sauce, but her is fantastic, but the sweet peach bbq sauce was my fav. I can't wait to go back. Better than any bbq restaurant I had in Texas, so look at Texas because you have competition in Savannah.
