Located in the DeSoto Hotel, it's very disappointing. Limited ability to make anything off menu with a Low energy bartender. Otherwise it's average at best.Service: 3/5

The cocktails are definitely the draw here and they are worth it. The sandwiches on the menu were excellent. Not an entree place. Nice patio facing Liberty St. And usually live music.Food: 4/5

This was our first time and had a great experience. Starting with the terrific cocktails we had a short wait for a table for four. Our server was attentive and responsive. The apps and meals were delivered in a good amount of time, not too fast or too slow. We all enjoyed the meal, two of us had the shrimp and grits amazing.Great experience.

Excellent, low-ley experience at Proof and Provision. The bar staff were very knowledgeable about their cocktail menu. The food was also excellent! Had the Thai Chicken Burger and the Caesar Salad. So glad that was the first time eating all day as the portions were more than adequate.Food: 5/5
