Congress Street Up - Savannah

I love, love, love this little jewel of a bar! The authentic Speakeasy Vibes give, this establishment not only serves fantastic cocktails, but a cool, simple atmosphere. Every cocktail I had here was stellar. The bartenders know their things and are pleasant, interesting people. We can't wait to visit Savannah and are happy to say that this place is going to be that we are always back.

We took the cocktail class with Bobby and it was so funny! Bobby is very well known and has done a great job that leads us through delicious cocktails. We called and talked to Jordan because one in our party is a non-drinker and she set us up with a mocktail version of the class. Overall a great experience we recommend to others.

I wouldn't call this authentic speech, but I would say it's a true ban themed bar. It is located in the Prohibition Museum, but also runs as an independent bar. The drinks were authentic in time, and we got the famous Chatham artillery stamp. I loved seeing some of the ban era elements in the bar, the bartender fits part, and overall good drinks and a good time. While we were there, we found out that they also make cocktail classes. Sounds fun to learn more.

We really enjoyed our time here I love being able to talk with the bartender and letting them come up with drinks based on my likes. We will come back next time to visit the prohibition museum and take the class on making drinks!
