El Potro Mexican - Saundersfoot

Really good mexican food. Perfect when you don't need something pretentious or over the top.

Was a little family owned restaurant....great service and food. Will definitely go back again when we are in town.

Food was bland and one of the waitresses was not friendly or helpful at all. They gave us one small dish of salsa for three people. If you wanted more salsa then there was a charge. Place is relatively small. Service was slow.

The service was great, atmosphere was great! The food was not very good. I am used to eating well seasoned Mexican food. Maybe someone who hasn't eaten authentic Mexican food would enjoy it.

Visited El Potro on a recommendation of a friend that lives here and was not disappointed. We had a group of seven and the service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food and beverages, which says a lot for a large and diverse group. Parking was easy and plentiful. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to town. Vegetarian options: Our group had multiple vegetarians in it and we all thoroughly enjoyed the dishes that we had. For those that are vegan, they have some delicious mushroom tacos.
