Nonna’s Cucina - Sault Ste. Marie

I have nostalgia entering the Marconi as it was where we used to have our hockey banquets but the real stroll down memory lane begins when they bring out the meatballs. The renovations they have done to include Tempo and the Bocce court are fantastic. Parking still very available. Food was classic. Also the service was quite prompt and friendly. Fun space for weddings!!

I received a gift card for Christmas to The Marconi, so I thought I'd try the pizza out. It was my first time having pizza from here and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizza actually was! This pizza, by far, makes my top 5 go-to pizza places here in Sault Ste. Marie. Our vegetarian had the freshest toppings, you could really taste it! My husband and I also treated ourselves to the tiramisu holiday special and I'm glad we didn't miss out on this!

I have to be honest , the first time I tried their takeout food in the fall , the pizza was incredibly plain the cheese was gross and worse than a frozen one you could get from a store. HOWEVER, they changed their recipe recently and revamped a lot of other items as well on their menu, and I have to say it was a great decision . The cheese melted just right , the crust was nice and puffy , it had a great flavour to it... I was shocked it came from the same place (Not to mention it came with free breadsticks which were delicious as well !!! . I’ll recommend any place that’s willing to admit that things could be better , and actually make changes to prove it. I’d easily recommend their pizza now. Good job!

Pizza is amazing! Love the crust, cheese combination, flavour of the pepperoni and cool mushrooms! Medium size is quite large and was so expensive! We ordered online and our order was ready so quickly and delivered right to our car door! Not a fan of the breading on the wings but loved the pizza!!! Thank you!
