A local hotel suggested that we give Mrs. B's a try instead of Dominos for a pizza. They told me that the Sault is well known for Italian food and Mrs. B's was one of the best. The pizza was average at best. The dough was too thick and a bit raw on the top. Toppings were sparse and bacon undercooked. I wouldn't order it again. Very little sauce, not enough herbs and spices (like oregano), just bland. The worst part is that the garlic bread I ordered was so full of butter and salt it was barely edible. In fact, my 16 year old son, who will eat almost anything and has a healthy appetite, couldn't stomach it either. We forced down some of it but then had to throw the rest away. It had so much salt that we were wincing at the end of every bite. And I don't know how much butter they put on it, but every bite felt like a teaspoon of liquid butter in your mouth. My guess is that they used salted butter, garlic salt (instead of garlic powder?) and then a healthy dose of salt as well. I've never eaten anything so salty in my life.Skip Mrs. B's and order from Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc. and I think you'll be happier.
People takeout pizza from Mrs. B's and ship it or carry in far and wide because it is soooooo good. Order ahead for pick up or delivery. Sometimes they have "by the slice".
At one time this place had a good pizza recipe, now it uses sub standard toppings, sauce that taste like it came straight out of a can. And way over priced, compared to the other pizza places here.
Ordered pizza and wings special, which was a great deal, the wings were very nice. Hot wings were flavorful, but not too spicy. The pizza is very filling, the crust is dense and soft but has not much flavour. Also big disappointment was that they use canned mushrooms, cut up some fresh mushrooms. Anyways, worth checking out, but not the best pizza I have had.
