Bidra med feedbackGreat little stop. The burgers had great flavor and were the perfect size. The kids meal had plenty of options. There was tons of space and nice bathrooms. Something really cool was that there was license plates on one wall. I enjoyed the stop.
We stopped in at Studebakers on Saturday morning prior to us taking the Soo Locks Tour cruise. We were seated immediately.....the restaurant was immaculately clean and we had the best waitress! Our food was delivered quickly, everything was cooked to perfection and well,,,they had awesome coffee! We highly suggest!!
They were out of chicken.. ekk. Oh well i got the prime rib sandwich with au jous and horseradish sauce. This place is americana... and just a few miles from Canada. Anyways the food is very good! And cheap, at least from my city folk standards. My waitress was very friendly and brough me beer which is grand. Dont come here looking for 30 microbeers.. angry orchered and bud. Ha! Im dont mind.
Well we were concerned as there were seats and booths outside in the back and there was only a few cars in the lot. We ordered iced tea and that has a weird taste but sometimes tea has a odd taste based on the water. The mushrooms were very good. My husbands philly steak sandwich was good. I did not like the coleslaw it had dill in it and was watery, the chicken pie was so peppery I could not eat it, the waitress was so sweet she offered me something else but it took over 30 minutes to get the second item so I had to take it to go. Again the waitress was sweet and tried very hard. I however feel that a manager or cook should of came out and talked us.
I had the wet burrito, and the soup and salad bar add-on. There were six suits, and I tasted a little bit of each one. My favorite was the chicken and rice. The service was okay, so the waitress seem to be having a bad day.
