le riberou - Saujon

Chose this bar/restaurant as it was the nearest to the Train des Mouettes station in Saujon, about a 10min walk. Chose the American burger for lunch, nothing special but good value and service. Would recommend as an honest typical place for a value lunch in...France.

Myself, husband and two adult children arrived at Le Riberou after a very disappointing experience in another restaurant. We were made very welcome, with an extremely attentive and amusing host nothing was too much trouble! My husband and I had the plat du jour... monkfish tail and frites, which was lovely, as was all the other food served! We were still reeling from an appalling display of rudeness at Thermalia and our host served to revive my faith in French hospitality and good food. The ambience was great and we stayed for drinks into the late evening. A fabulous end to our regular holiday in this area we will be back!

Accueillant, bon rapport qualité prix. Très conviviale. Je le recommande vivement. Les planches de charcuterie sont super !

Repas bon mais sans plus, peu de choix a la carte. Menu enfant cher 8,50 sans boisson pour ce type de resto et cet endroit.

Un plat du jour bon et bien servi vous attend à un prix très attractif ,Ce point de chute ressemble à un bistrot comme je les aime, en toute simplicité Bon spot en été, avec cette vue sur le port
