Tony Roma's - Saskatoon

There are no Tony Roma's restaurants near me There used to be one 20 years ago and even that one was over an hour away.

OK for a chain, not really american BBQ, not really Cdn BBQ (grilled,) decent portions, not as big as the photos but ok__Service was great, ribs ok, sides

I go to Tony's all the time and this was a good location. Nice staff and friendly atmosphere. I was here on business and I had a good time

Tried the smokey chicken kabobs with rice and vegetables. They were not smokey, they were brazed in chili type sauce. Didn't work well together. Supposedly this is a new menu item and I really don't recommend it. The ribs platter was also ordered and the baked potato was reheated and the small pork ribs were dry. The waitress was personable but not very efficient. Ask for water and didn't get it for me and my sis, but my brother in law got his. Asked for wet wipes got them after waiting several minutes and also asked for the bill twice. No tip for the waitress she didn't earn it. Pricing not bad. Just wished we had a better overall experience.

We have had heard good things about Tony Roma's restaurants so we decided that as this was close to where we were staying we went to try this location out. The food was satisfactory, however the decore, staff, and waitress were much to be desired. First of all, given the day and time, Thursday evening, the place was deserted. To us this is not a good sign. The decore has seen better days and is in need of a renovation. The greeter was indifferent showing us to a booth. After a considerable delay, the waitress arrived and seemed to want to be elsewhere. Not unpleasant, but did not give us a warm feeling. The meal itself was hot but not that tasty. I finished mine, but my partner could not finish as it was bland. We did not stay for coffee or desert as we usually do as we wanted to get out of this depressing place. We would not recommend this particular Tony Roma's restaurant and will not be going back even if we were in the area again.
