Bidra med feedbackOur group of 5 visited for dinner before a concert. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., our server took our food order at 5.50 p.m. The restaurant was busy after our order was taken, but it took up to 6:50 before the start of our order. 2 dishes arrived 10 minutes later the remaining dishes. We got an empty ketchup bottle, no salad dressing for 1 salad. We ordered burgers, cattle dives, so no complicated order. Interestingly, other tables that were sitting after our arrival had eaten and gone. Not sure what the hold was different when we were told that the kitchen was secured, they seemed to be understaffed. We got 25% off our tab. Anyway, don't think I'm going back.
Stayed for one night in the inn and had both dinner and breakfast in the lift. Food was great, the portion size is on the smaller side. Service was ok, the server for dinner was in a hurry. was not really into what I ordered....i
I visited the hub at the Holiday Inn recently and unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I ordered the Green Dragon Bowl, which was decent but lacked sufficient seasoning. The service was friendly, and the server was very personable, always ready with a quick story. For dessert, I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, and the pour was quite generous.
I started eating at the bar, but I came and there was no one there, I waited a few minutes and when no one arrived, I decided to go to the restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Appetizer with the Beef Tenderoin and...Fries. The shrimps were pretty good, but when the main course arrived, they had forgotten to change the order of roasted potatoes to pommes. The peppercorn sauce was good, but how they cook the steak you need. The steak itself is tasteless, which is quite difficult to do on a medium-sized tylloin. The fries finally arrived when I had two bites of steak. The waitress offered a free dessert. There was only one other person in the restaurant all the time when I ate. I was here for an early flight in the morning, the room is nice, but parking is very close if you have something else than a car.
My wife and I, along with another couple, had dinner at The Hub recently. For me, it was disappointing. Our waitress was new (2nd shift), although not a particularly young person, and was still learning the ropes. She was challenged a bit with the process,...although reasonably friendly. Okay, I understand that. My pint of beer was well short of a pint due to the way it had been poured. No excuses there! But most disappointing was my meal, the evening special. Penne noodles in tomato sauce with shrimp. Well, the tomato sauce was pedestrian at best, tasting essentially like it came from a can of tomato paste. And thinly applied. There was negligible Parmesan cheese on top. The three shrimp were reasonably good, but three was a bit spartan. The small piece of toasted bread was okay. Then, to top things off, the credit card payment machine did not work and our waitress was nowhere to be found. As well, the beer charge was more than stated in the menu, but I did not have time for the correction as we were off to a show. The room is bright and inviting, so there are possibilities for success, but adjustments are needed. That all said, my wife did enjoy her buffalo chicken burger, so I suppose all was not lost!!!
