Smitty's - Saskatoon

Ordered the herb chicken and the veal cutlets. The chicken was so dry you could hardly choke it down. Had a big plate of plain white rice and some incredibly mushy vegetables. The cutlets were so tough they would have been good to resole a pair of boots. I think everything was cooked earlier in the day and then reheated in a microwave. Will not be coming back.

Not great at all. Chicken Cajun was a half chicken breast deep fried just rubbery and gross for $18. Don't get me even started on how disgusting the women's washroom was. Never again.

This place is AWFUL!!! First of all, the ‘adult’ portion of chicken fingers had four tiny little fish tasting pieces with maybe 10 fries for a whopping $14! Not nearly enough to fill my 7 year old up. One of the friends I was with ordered a smoked meat sandwich with no mustard you guessed it, it came with mustard so the girl took it to the back, came out 2 minutes later and it turns out she just scraped the mustard off because it still tasted like mustard. The sandwich itself was full of chewy disgusting meat but we were so starved that we choked as much as we could back. It gets better, the other friend ordered a burger and it came out with a mouldy bun! The mould was literally right on the top, how does one miss that? Then it got sent back, again, out comes a mouldy bun... wow. Unreal. I have never in my life experience such terrible service and food. I wouldn’t be surprised if we all got violently ill tonight. You’d think the story would end there, but it doesn’t. We left something behind at the gas station attached to the place because we were hungry after gagging what we could down at Smitty’s, we later called to confirm the item was left there the guy working there said he looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, so we turned around. Low and behold the item was sitting right there on the counter in front of his face. He didn’t even look. Just an all around nasty place.

I had a great meal, staff were great, the place is older, I went during off hours and really enjoyed it. Delicious Breakfast bar none.

Smitty's is the best. Their menu is expansive, and everything is delicious. You can have breakfast anytime, and the staff is friendly and fast. There is a daily buffet, both at lunch and supper. The restaurant's atmosphere is comfortable and familiar. Highly recommended by me.
