Bidra med feedbackWe had stopped going to Chianti for a few years. It was a favorite of us. The last reviews were not good and it looked a bit down. We went to lunch today. It was great. A pasta court is just $10 for the smaller size. Lunch. There is also the free bread. It was fresh and warm. We shared a spinach salad as a starter. It was good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I suggest you give Chianti another try!
Three friends and I went to an early dinner after a game at TCUPlace. Every one of us had a terrible meal. The one friend 's smoked salmon' was scavenger from a can, my fesselini was rubber and no taste at all, other friends topping was ok... but bowls were so rubbery... Bread good, my spinach salad was small, but somehow tasty. Yeah, we told the server.
A group of 7 gathered in Chianti for a meal. I had reserved 8 people. The table was set for 6. We had to ask for menus for our invoices. I used the bathroom, it wasn't clean. My meal was very disappointing....I ordered Veal Limone. The bread on the calf was not browned at all. Several large mushrooms were on the plate, they were fresh, instead of pan roasted. Broccoli was bitter. I rarely give negative reviews if I'm not very disappointed.
Unfortunately, I have to make a negative review. Due to all accounts errors happen two nights in a row. First night we ordered from the door dash. Two pasta dishes and a chicken Caesar salad ordered. We both wanted extra sauce for our dishes. A dish was right, but the other came with a completely different sauce. Disgusting... The Caesar Salat... something I thought was the best in town. Unfortunately, I received a can of very wet salad, a very small bottle of dressing and a container with what looked like to be a wonderful crusty chicken breast. Once removed from the container it was a chicken breast that was not cut apart and was completely soggy from the moisture of the placed and hot covered in a container. I should also note that the salad croutons were in the bottom of the container... nice and soggy. I made a sandwich instead. Now I had put the Caesar salad in my head and my loving spouse suggested we go in to eat and give them another shot. Around two... The next day we drove in. It was later in the evening. I realized that two more tables were occupied and the rest of the restaurant was empty. We had to wait until the table was cleaned before we could sit. The atmosphere was not very welcoming. The restaurant had a strong smell of seafood. Something you would expect in red lobster... no pasta place. The lighting was something that doesn't bother me, but it makes it hard to read the menu for my spouse. The music that is played was not something I would ever expect to hear in a restaurant and was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other. With my fingers we decided to order an appy first. We got the Calamari, because the fish smell made us feel fresh. What came to the table was what I thought was onion rings. After trying the Calamari I wish it was onion rings. The Calamari was not seasoned and tasted like oil. It came with two dips that both made no sense and did nothing to make them better. We sent her back with our waitress who regretted it and offered us salt. We refused and didn't want them to return. I'm glad we didn't ask her to be made new, as I ordered a chicken caesar salad and it came up with cold chicken on him, which was not crumbed, as asked. I asked for a new one and would take it because the restaurant was too loud and cold for our pleasure. I asked for the sale as take-out and an additional dressing if possible. Once at home I was starved and wanted salad to be as bad as after the night before I couldn't go without fixing my desire. I opened the can to find a bunch of soggy salad I had returned with the chicken that was thrown out. I was crying honestly. Throw it in the garbage and made a sandwich. Never in my life have I asked to fix something when I ordered food to get the same food I returned. I waited a few days before writing because I was so disappointed that I didn't want to write it mad. However, I am still angry and so disappointed that I could not get a Caesar salad right for two nights in a row. I would never return to the restaurant to feed, and since the atmosphere was not at all comforting and I cannot see any future orders coming to me at any time soon.
Excellent food, exceptional service. I will gladly recommend to friends, we will be back. Keep up the good work.
