Captain John's Fish & Chips - Sarnia

We called and hoped Captain John's will open again. We had picked up a few times while Covid and although we don't like to take fish and chips out, they were just as delicious as in the restaurant. Then they closed again... We're not sure what's happening, but we want Captain John to get up again. We have tried fish and chips everywhere in the city, but are very disappointed and consider that we need to go to London. John, if you read this, please open it again.

Food is excellent service with a smile specials are good cost a little expensive, but fair restaurant seats a little outdated, but cozy needs renovations

Best price in the city, which in laws like the portions and I like the combination plate, easy place to enjoy a fast Friday night.

This was my first visit to the restaurant since they relocated to Mitton Street. I had previously left a review in November 2017, and I must say that the fish is still very good. However, I would suggest serving 'fresh-cut' fries instead of the pre-frozen ones. The place was quite busy with only one waitress and one cook in the kitchen, which resulted in slow service. I opted for the basic 'fish and chips' lunch special, but they also had haddock on the menu at a higher price.
