Bidra med feedbackUpon on arriving at the location we were informed that our reservation for four people suddenly got reduced to merely two with apparently no chance of showing professional flexibility and managing the situation to ensure we were all seated. Furthermore, upon investigation at the spot it turned out that a change in booking to a different date was too much of a challenge for this restaurent, as for whatever oafish reason they deleted the original booking. Their pathetic excuse for having reserved us only two seats was that in the email that followed the original booking it said us which apparently is the equivalent of two people in this valley. In conclusion, the incompetence and arrogant dismissal of us as a group of four speaks quite poorly about this restaurant, as there was no interest from them in fixing their mistake and one really got the impression they didn 't care at all. If I wanted to eat at a location without a sophisticated and welcoming service and booking process I will check the local McDonald 's the next time and save myself the dissapointment.
We had a late dinner at around 9.30pm, the staff gave us a warm welcome. I had an entrecôte steak and my girlfriend had costolette do Vitello. Both meals were amazing and the service was good. We had Trancio al Cioccolato with ice cream for dessert...my girlfriend wanted to lick the plate clean hahahaha. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Nice local staff, friendly and smiling, great selection of wines. the dishes are very good and some wanted. overall a beautiful experience. the price is proportional to the type of local and dishes offered.
Now have outdoor seasting in the Chuch Square. Great food in a very convivial atmosphere. Calssic Tyrolean and modern presentation both on display. Higly recommend this for Lunch or Dinner
A hidden gem with excellent food and polite yet authentic service for a very reasonable price. Located half an hour by car from Bolzano, the Braunwirt may not offer the extravagance or chique of some alternatives in Bolzano, but this helps highlight the sincere and competent service in the cozy ambiance of the small venue. The subtle interior design seems to express Braunwirt 's philosophy rather well focus clearly lies on quality rather than quantity, both for food and service. The cuisine is an interesting melange of local traditions and more 'modern ' creations, thereby offering alternatives for any taste with competent wine pairings. Prices are not low but very fair for what you get. I can only praise this restaurant and will certainly return on the next occasion.
