Bidra med feedbackI can't speak highly enough of Ripplebrook! Their menu is fantastic - the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and the portion sizes are generous. The wood-fired pizzas and cheese platter are absolutely delicious. The scenery is stunning, and the staff are incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly. You have the option to dine inside or outside, making it a great choice all year round. They also have games on the grass, making it kid-friendly. They offer a nice selection of both white and red wines. I would definitely recommend Ripplebrook, but let's keep it a secret so we don't miss out on getting a table!
We visited this winery a week ago to sample their selection of wines and decided to return on July 1st for lunch. The food was excellent and the wine was as well. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the staff took good care of us. Chef Harvey makes fantastic Wood Fired Pizza, and is very professional and friendly, as are his assistants Katrina and Maggie. We started with a Combination Antipasto with Three Cheeses, followed by a delicious garlic Prawn Pizza. For dessert, we enjoyed Poached Pear and Vegan Ice Cream. The prices were reasonable, and we will definitely be returning with friends in the future.
After my husband enjoyed a visit theee with our Probus club, we decided to check it out for a Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. The perfect sunny afternoon allowed us to sit outside and soak in the picturesque views of the vineyard and rolling Gippsland hills. The platter we ordered was a delight featuring local produce. We will certainly be returning!
After desiring to spend a dreary and rainy afternoon at a locale offering good local wine and delicious food, we searched for wineries in the West Gippsland area and came across Ripplebrook Winery. It surpassed our expectations! The vineyards cascading down the hill provided stunning views that could be enjoyed from the covered porch or the cozy indoors. The host was delightful, showcasing their exquisite wines and engaging in friendly conversation, before treating us to a fantastic selection of cheeses and homemade wood-fired pizza. This establishment has become a top favorite of mine!
The winery is in a lovely area and is easy to get too. We just happened to notice it on a Sunday drive and went it. The cellar door is like a little cafe, with outdoor seating overlooking the vines and the view. We had a wine tasting and selected a nice bottle of white wine - can't remember which as we tasted a few. They have wood fired pizza too which was delicious. A lovely way to finish a sunny Sunday afternoon !
