Their attention to detail was superb and they really knew how to make our evening super special (celebrating a birthday and anniversary ! My parents even visited from out of town and kept commenting on how special this restaurant was! The food and wine recommendations were on point, the quality exceeded our expectations and the conversations were flowing so naturally. The napkins were constantly folded and our water glasses were always filled. Definitely get that uni and dungeness crab souffle appetizer there's a reason it's never left their menu : . We loved the whole experience so much that we're going to come back next month to celebrate my husband's birthday!
The service here was second only to the food. Essentially every course (and we ordered a variety of dishes amongst ourselves was delicious and eloquently explained to us. Their non-alcoholic drink options were also super appreciated and tasty. All of the staff members we interacted with were friendly and willing to indulge all of our inquiries about the food and restaurant. Highly recommend the pork katsu :
We really like the Duroc Pork chop Katsu, the best ever pork chop I ever tried. Also, the strawberry shortcake is outstanding, it wrapped up the previous course flavor perfectly. The service in this restaurant is very nice, we had been feeling a very relaxing and delightful vibe all the time.
Outstanding. It's been some time since a restaurant unexpectedly impressed, but this dining experience was very good. Food was exceptional, all very well seasoned as well as creatively presented. Wine list is extensive.
While the ambiance was good both the food and service were lacking in light of the Michelin Star status and price of this restaurant. The service was not bad just very slow at first but all the servers were very professional. My biggest complaint is with the food. The all of our main entrees (we were a party of 6) were a little off. The fish (which was ordered by half of us) was overcooked and cold. The meat was also cold. I expected more and was very disappointed. I had dinner with the same set of people a month ago at Le Papillon last month. They do not have a Michelin Star and both food and service were outstanding. I have been here many times and picked it for my birthday celebration. Sad to say that I will most likely not go back for a very long time if at all.
