Bidra med feedbackThis was our first visit to the Irish 31 restaurant and bar in Sarasota, FL near Siesta Key. The local Sarasota Gator Club chapter of the University of Florida meets Irish 31 for college football, so we gave it a chance! It is a mixed open air/seat concept with mostly pub top tables. It's a bar, so bar food is the good food. For those looking for vegetarian, vegan or plant-based menu options, it should be easy to choose a few articles and be happy. The staff is there. You can really feel how they run the operation.
Shepherd's pie boxty was delicious, fish and chips were amazing. Service was acceptable. Homemade hot bread pudding was okay. When the bread was very sponge, it was not terrible. I just wouldn't order it again.
Really good eating, our waitress was very attentive and nice. a beautiful outside area under shadow to bring her furbabies. they even have an article in the menu for the doggos. definitiw will be back!
A nice Friday dinner with the additional bonus of live music. Our first visit, but definitely not our last one. A fairly large menu for an Irish place with happy hours of 3-7! Good service and good food!
Fun spot. We've probably been here five or 6 times now. It's not really an Irish place per se, but more like a sports bar with an Irish theme and a few Irish dishes on the menu. Lots of TV's, etc. That being said, the food is quite good and the service is always excellent. It's a little expensive for what it is, but so is everything these days I guess. We'll definitely be back!
