Hob Nob Drive In - Sarasota

Not as good anymore. Hot dogs seem smaller. Sweet tea is horrible used to be great. Prices too high for the type of joint it is. Won't be back.

Great service and eating. my job looks like 2a. there is no indoor kitchen, only a covered outdoor area. burger was tasty, only too many wobbles that are easily removed. Sweat rings were scattered slightly and not greasy.

Great old school castle connection! Very friendly staff ready to help you as soon as you go or find a place on your own. Burgers came out quickly and were good! outdoor seats around the bar kitchen at this point. It is close to a main road, so it can be loud and a bit windy as well as not much to block the wind, but the service and food beat that by a long shot!

This place is precious! if you like the old school quarter little diner experience, then you have to stop here. hob nob is a small open air, no frills feed directly from the 50s/early 60s. community style sitting on large metal clad picnic tables promotes socialization and talk. we were immediately recognized with a smile and said to sit somewhere. an older man said that at his table was a lot of space (not that the place was crowded so that we joined him. he continued to entertain us with interesting strata and easy freche sweat. he was a hoot. server took our orders immediately and since this was our first time to ask our menu gladly answered. our food came out pretty fast. wife had the classic patty melt. I chose the hob nob that was a juicy, grilled, double patty cheeseburger with all the fixes! I also had the wobble rings that, if you know me, you know I love wobble rings. these were very tasty and not greasy a bit! nice crack for her. hob nob is a great place for a casual lunch. good prices, good food, good service! ps it sits at the intersection, so traffic noise can get a bit loud, so maybe not the best place to meet:

Outdoor seating. It reminded me of the old milk queens. Fair prices and delicious food! Friendly and attentive staff. Our burgers were cooked for perfection. The foods were great. I definitely recommend eating here!
