China Garden - Sarasota County

The sweet and sour pork was greasy and tough. It was sauce and pork with no vegetables. The beef lo mein had a few small pieces of beef and a few pieces of onion, basically nothing but noodles.

I ordered general Tso and it was overly expensive and the food was trashed and that's where I put it never again ?

Hot and sour soup was a disappointment. No tree ears; button mushrooms instead. No tangy vinegar taste. Lots of chili peppers instead. I'll have to go back to making my own. Plus the won tons were stale. Must have been delivered from NY last month.

We wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant, because we've been looking for a good Chinese food since leaving Chicago. Unfortunately the food we ordered today was tasteless and the rice wasn't even good. We have tried several restaurants in the last 5 years and this was our least favorite. I don't understand the 4.1 rating.

Went there during my vacation at Sarasota. We stopped there almost every day of the week. It was one of the best Chinese restaurants I've eaten at, with some of the highest-quality seafood in the world.Have an Auspicious Year of the Dragon!
