Tamanas - São Sebastião

The chef, Ivan makes magic complementing his food with unique flavors, spices and phenomenal presentation. I had fish and meat o different meals and found myself surprised at the quality and value in this place. The outside deck adds a flair of tropical feeling and...the service is impecable. it is worth the treck through the unpaved roads and hills to get here and find this epucurious gem!

Having read so Many cumpliments we went with high expectative. Unfortunately ir seems that people are bewitched by te atmosphere. Calamari milanese was full with oil. Shrimps were not au point And the risotto though the good quality ingredients too heavy. Só famous chocolate cake...was just a.. oh ok.

The dishes are very good. Surprisiny the steaks are excellent! The service is very good. And I think I said enough but trip advisor wants me to write more. 100 carachteres is sometimes too much!

We stayed at this hotel during a businesss convention, and ate our lunch here. The view of the ocean and the beach is great. The trees surround you on the deck. I opted for the fish (abadejo one day, and salmon the next) accompanied by...rice. But the menu included pasta, filet mignon and risotto. The desserts were varied (I ate brigadeiro a chocolate pudding made with condensed milk, a Brazilian classc). The juices were great (try the abacaxi with hortela: pineapple juice with min -it is not sweetened)
