Bidra med feedbackFor me, São Paulo personified. Along a cluttered street and through a viscous bar, is a dizzying stairwell that leads to Ema. She's a kitchen. No she's a restuarant. No she's a bar. Or she's a romantic dinner. She's whatever you are willing to welcome on the day. But you will come and leave *well*. The atmosphere was electric. The staff, so helpful and patient with us gringos and our incumbent language. The wine, competently selected to satisfy the sophisticated pallate and the trying. Then there was the food, prepared an arm stretch away in a theatric kitchen. There is something special about seeing every intricate detail of an ingredient prepared before you countless times, and then tasting the flood of combined flavours with clarity and appreciation. An extraordinary production. highly recommend sitting at the bar for your first time. Thank you, Ema, for treating us and leaving us so well. We will remember you.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, especially the starters! Definitely coming back when I'm in SP and would love to try the other sister restaurants
Unique tasting menu. It wasn't always clear what we were eating because it is so noisy it was hard to hear. We liked most of the dishes as they were unique takes on rather basic dishes, though the dessert was really meh and a bit of a let down to such a nice meal. Of the Ema group my favorite menu to go regularly is their restaurante Me Gusta below.
Cozy atmosphere, well-trained staff and huge (and delicious) dishes. It's a great choice for a date or a night out with intimate friends. Truly recommend.
Certainly worth a visit. the place is comfortable well decorated with their friendly ostriches. Service was friendly and informative. One on the best **** Mary’s and Vodka Mules in São Paulo. we went for the set menu. The snacks are excellent and most of the starters maintain the standard some like the prawn is amazing. I do think its a bit too much food. its not cheap but worth the visit.
